BOONE, N.C. — With an ESPN2 game this weekend at Coastal Carolina, plus an announcement that next weekend's Nov. 28 home game against Troy will be shown on ESPNU at 8 p.m., App State currently has seven nationally televised games as part of an 11-game regular season.
Last year, there were a school-record seven national television appearances during a 13-1 season. App State improved to 6-1 this season and gained bowl eligibility with a win against Georgia State, and the seven national TV games attached to the Mountaineers' current schedule don't include any designation for the regular-season finale at Georgia Southern or the postseason.
