BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State University men’s cross country will hit the course this Friday, Oct. 14 in Kernersville, N.C. at High Point University’s VertCross Invitational. The men’s 8k competition will kickoff at 4:30 p.m.
“This VertCross meet is on a European style 2000m loop course, and is very spectator friendly,” said head coach Michael Curcio. “ Many of our athletes are familiar with the IVY Redmon facility and the course at Beeson Park because the North Carolina High School state meet is held there, and we ran it last year. The team has really focused more on interval training.
