NEW ORLEANS - Appalachian State University men’s cross country was bumped down to No. 14 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Southeast Regional Team Rankings on Monday. Last week the men ranked at No. 12, their highest position posted in the 2016 season.
For the third straight week, the Mountaineers are the only Sun Belt Conference representatives highlighted on the list.
The top three spots have remained the same since the first week of competition with Eastern Kentucky standing in front, Virginia staying at second and NC State prevailing at third.
