SAN MARCOS, Texas – App State jumped out to a 3-0 lead and cruised to a 5-2 conference victory against Texas State at the Bobcat Tennis Complex on Sunday.
The Mountaineers improved to 8-6 overall and 5-2 in Sun Belt matches. It's the most conference wins for App State since its 2018-19 championship season when it finished with a league-best 9-1 record. It was also the squad's third Sun Belt road win in four tries this season.
"I'm really happy with the way we rebounded today with this win," head coach Ashleigh Antal said.
