BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women’s tennis concludes the fall slate this weekend as it heads to Chapel Hill, N.C. for the ITA Regionals on the campus of North Carolina Oct. 20-24.
App State will join other area North and South Carolina schools for the five-day event. Last season, the Apps were led by the duo of former Mountaineer Clare Cox and sophomore Heidi Swope, who advanced to the round of 16 after earning a bye and capturing an 8-7 (4) triumph over Davidson’s Ava Todd and Ann Catharine.
The Mountaineers turned in an impressive effort at the ECU Invitational in their last outing, recording 22 victories (14 singles, 8 doubles).
