Mountaineers Set for Irish Creek Intercollegiate

BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University men's golf will back on the course this weekend at the Irish Creek Intercollegiate in Kannapolis, N.C. hosted by Davidson.

The tournament will be played on The Club at Irish Creek. The course has a par of 71 and runs 7,099 yards long.

The Irish Creek Intercollegiate will be played over two days with the first and second rounds being played on Saturday and the final 18 holes on Sunday. Both days will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

Appalachian will be competing against 15 other schools that include: Akron, Charlotte, Dartmouth, Davidson, East Carolina, Florida State, James Madison, Kennesaw State, Mercer, North Carolina, North Florida, UNCG, UNCW, VCU, and Wake Forest.
