The Mountaineers (8-11, 4-4 SBC) posted an 81-74 victory over Coastal Carolina on Jan. 21 after trailing the Chants through the first half. The Black and Gold went on a commanding 21-0 run in the third quarter to change the tide, taking the lead in the sole lead change of the game. Sophomore Emily Carver led the Mountaineers with a career and team-high 27 points, shooting 6-of-8 from the 3-point line and 5-of-6 from the charity stripe.
