ASHEVILLE, N.C.- The Appalachian State men’s tennis team captured its first road win of the season at Asheville Raqucet Club on Saturday against UNCA, 5-2. This marks the third win in a row for the Black and Gold.
The Apps notched the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches resulting in the doubles point going to the Mountaineers.
Jack Maddocks (Newcastle, Australia / Lambton) and Scott Webster (Perth, Australia / Scotch College) led off the victorious afternoon for the Apps after beating Henry Patten and Joshua Swindler, 6-3.
