Mountaineers Fall to Spartans

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Appalachian State University men's tennis (10-7) fell to UNCG (7-6) in a 6-1 decision on Tuesday afternoon at UNCG Tennis Courts.

The Mountaineers weren't able to get anything going against the hosts. UNCG claimed all three doubles matches and five of six singles contests. Four of the six singles matches either went to a tiebreaker or a third frame.

Milo Bargeron highlighted the Apps' day with a hard-fought 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (7-3) triumph as the No. 2 in the lineup over Marcus Vidgren. Bargeron moves to .500 on the season in singles play with an 8-8 mark.
