BOONE, N.C. – The App State volleyball team fell to Coastal Carolina, 3-1, on Thursday in Boone.
The Mountaineers return to the court on Friday at 6 p.m. for their second bout with the Chanticleers. The match will be broadcasted on ESPN+. Friday's match will feature a Fan Zone with a bounce house as well as free Chick-Fil-A for App State students.

Senior McCall Denny led the Mountaineers in kills, tallying 12 kills on the night. Fellow senior Sam Bickley led the team in aces (2) as well as assists (22).
