TROY, Ala. – The App State women's basketball team fell to Troy, 102-69, in its penultimate road game of the season.
With one game left in the Mountaineers' regular season slate, App State (15-14, 8-9 SBC) is projected to finish no lower than ninth in the Sun Belt. The No. 5 – No. 10 seeds will open play in the second round of the Sun Belt Tournament on Wednesday, March 6 in Pensacola, Fla.
Sophomore led the Mountaineers with 16 points as well as four of the Black and Gold's eight treys. Junior netted 15 points and pulled down a team-high nine rebounds.
