CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Appalachian State University men's track and field finished up day one of the Charlotte Invite on Friday.
The Mountaineers finished with six top-10 finishes and were led by Chris Anderson who took first-place in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:43.13. Andrew Vandenburg took third in the same race and finished with a time of 14:58.66.
In the 1,500-meter run, Evan Georges took home ninth-place with a time of 3:54.01, while Michael Ellis finished in 10th with a time of 3:54.
