MUNCIE, Ind. –– Appalachian State University women's soccer (0-2-1) ended in a 1-1 draw against Ball State (1-2-1) on Sunday afternoon at the BSU Soccer Field in Muncie, Ind.
For the second-straight contest, the Apps held their opponent scoreless in the first half as both teams went into the second period tied at zeroes.
Into the first 10 minutes of the second half, Erin Settle found Maggie Hanusek from 15 yards out to give App the 1-0 lead. The score for Hanusek was the first of the season for the sophomore and third of her career, while it was Settle's first assist of 2017.
