BOONE, N.C. — In preparation for Appalachian State University football’s historic sold-out home contest against five-time national champion Miami (Fla.), Appalachian State athletics will be hosting a Miami Pep Rally in Peacock Parking Lot on Friday, Sept. 16 from 6-10 p.m.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to kick off what should be a truly incredible weekend in Boone with this event and the game on Saturday against Miami,” Director of Athletics Doug Gillin said. “This will be a historic time for the University and the community, and the Miami pep rally will be a fantastic way for fans to get excited about the game.
