BOONE, N.C. –– Appalachian State University men's track and field wrapped up its only home meet of the season on Saturday with the conclusion of the Mountaineer Meet.
The Mountaineers posted 22 top-five finishes en route to a strong showing on the Ike Belk Track inside Kidd Brewer Stadium.

Michael Albert finished seventh in the shot put with a throw of 48-4.75, while Nicolas Botett took eighth with a throw of 47-10.
