Men's Track and Field Places Sixth in Sun Belt

LAFAYETTE, La. – Appalachian State University men's track and field wrapped up the Sun Belt Championships third day on Sunday.

Stanley Broaden won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 50.67 and also took second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.04. Broaden's time in the 400 hurdles was a personal-best and good for second all-time in program history. The time is also marked as ninth-best in the NCAA East Region and 16th in the country.

Also placing in the 400 hurdles was Brandon Smith with a time of 54.
