LAFAYETTE, La. – Appalachian State University men's track and field opened up the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships on Friday.
In the hammer throw, Nathan Milch took 14th with a throw of 163-8. The Apps would not have a student-athlete in competition until the 10,000-meter run. Andrew Vandenberg finished ninth with a time of 31:54.37, while Chris Anderson finished in 11th with a time of 32:15.43.
The Mountaineers will open day two tomorrow with the long jump.
