BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University men's track and field will be hosting its second meet of the 2015-16 indoor season Saturday with the Mountaineer Open inside Holmes Convocation Center and Varsity Gym.
App State is one of nine schools competing this weekend including Tusculum, Piedmont, Lenoir-Rhyne, Mars Hill, Milligan, Lees-McRae, St. Andrews, and Lincoln Memorial. Action will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the weight throw, shot put, pole vault, and high jump in Varsity and the long jump and triple jump in Holmes.
The Mountaineers were last in action Jan. 21-22 when they sent Jackson Powers and Benjamin Brunson to North Carolina's Tobacco Road Multis.
