Men's Tennis Rolls to 6-1 Win at NC Central

DURHAM, N.C. - Appalachian State University men’s tennis (6-5) rolled to a 6-1 road win against North Carolina Central (2-9) in Durham, N.C. on Thursday afternoon.

Appalachian brought home the doubles point with two of three doubles matches before grabbing five of six singles points. The Mountaineers are above .500 while it’s the second three-match win streak of the season.

“I’m really proud of the guys for how they performed with the long layoff between matches,” said head coach Bob Lake. “We didn’t skip a beat from our last match, and it was great to get back above .
