BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University men’s tennis (1-1) rolled past Presbyterian (2-2) with a score of 5-2 on Saturday afternoon at the Deer Valley Racquet Club.
The Mountaineers took home the doubles point with two of three doubles matches while capturing four of six singles points. App picked up its first win of the season and can improve to 2-1 tomorrow against Lees-McRae at the DVC.
“It was great to see us get our first win today, “ said head coach Bob Lake. “I was proud of the way we came back after dropping the first doubles match, then from there, the momentum rolled into singles play.
