BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University men’s tennis will begin the fall slate with a three-day tournament at UNC Wilmington.
Appalachian is coming off a successful 14-7 campaign in 2015 ,which were the most wins since 2012 when the Mountaineers won 15 matches. App State also defeated then-defending Sun Belt Tournament Champion Troy for its first-ever Sun Belt Tournament win, advancing to the semifinals.
Despite losing four seniors to graduation, the Mountaineers return the trio of Scott Webster, Jack Maddocks, and Trey Morris. All three student-athletes won 10 or more victories in singles and doubles competition.
