BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University men’s tennis wrapped up the fall slate with a solid outing in the Charlotte 49er Fall Invitational at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.
Appalachian netted 20 wins for the second time this fall while in both singles and doubles action, the Mountaineers were able to make deep runs in the tournament.
“This was an excellent way to finish the fall,” said head coach Bob Lake. “We performed very well in singles and doubles, with multiple student-athletes in the championship in different situations, it was great to see. Now it’s time to get ready for the spring, but I’m proud of the way we played this weekend and in the fall.
