Men's Tennis Faces South Alabama in Opening Round

BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University men's tennis will have its hands full in the first round of the 2017 Sun Belt Championship against No. 2 seed South Alabama at City Park Tennis Courts in New Orleans on Friday.

First serve is at 7:30 p.m. (ET) with the winner advancing to the semifinals against the winner of No. 3 seed UT Arlington and No. 6 seed Georgia Southern on Saturday at 4 p.m. (ET).

The Mountaineers, who finished the season at 12-8, have won nine of their past 12 matches going into tomorrow's contest. App has won back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since the 2011 and 2012 campaigns.
