BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University men’s tennis (12-6) concludes the regular season with a road trip to Statesboro, Ga., for a showdown against archrival Georgia Southern (15-5) at 2 p.m. in the Wallis Tennis Center.
The Mountaineers are coming off a pair of losses last weekend to solid squads in Charlotte (12-6) and Davidson (11-9). Appalachian is ending the season against three opponents that have a combined .655 (38-20) winning percentage going into the conference tournament.
Despite the setbacks, Oliver Casey and Jack Maddocks finished 2-0 in doubles play while Zach Bost won his team-leading 13th win against Charlotte on Friday.
