BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University men’s soccer is headed into its second season this weekend when it begins Sun Belt conference play on Saturday, Oct. 8 against Howard at 7 p.m.
Appalachian (3-5-2) has started to find a rhythm as it heads into conference action, going 3-1-2 in their last six matches and are unbeaten in their last four. Leading them on the offensive attack during the streak has been mostly the usual suspects in seniors Stephen Chapman and Jordan Melia with Chapman leading in points (eight) and goals (three) while Melia has led in shots with (18) and is tied-second in goals (two).
