BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University men’s soccer hosted its annual Black and Gold Scrimmage on Friday evening, as the Gold team was able to win 1-0 over team black.
“Today we wanted to look at the relationships out there and some of them worked out pretty well some of them we have to look at and continue to tweak but it was really just about getting these guys a run out with 13 new guys at the Mack,” head coach Jason O’Keefe said. “Just trying to give them a sense of what it’s like competing out here and just trying to get better, which is really going to be the theme all Fall every day, just trying to get better.
