HUNTINGTON, W.Va — Appalachian State University men’s soccer dropped the 1-0 decision to Marshall on Saturday afternoon, unable to prevent a goal in the second half by Alex Reyes.
“Well, obviously I’m disappointed with the result,” head coach Jason O’Keefe said. “We had a lot of moments in the first half to capitalize and change the outcome of the match but we just couldn’t finish those opportunities. We had some more opportunities in the second half but then you’re chasing the game on the road and that’s really tough. We will regroup and get ready for our first home game on Tuesday against USC Upstate.
