Men's Soccer Bounces Back with Draw Versus Campbell

BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University men's soccer (4-6-4) bounced back on Tuesday evening to a 1-1 draw against a formidable Campbell (8-5-2) squad at Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex.

App State showed great resiliency after falling to Hartwick on Saturday, 3-0, and even more grit facing a 1-0 deficit to the Camels.

Freshman Reed Hunnicutt connected with fellow freshman Justin Pruitt in the 67th minute to tie up the contest at 1-apiece. It was Pruitt's first collegiate goal and a team-leading third assist of the season. Pruitt becomes the sixth freshman of the season to score for the Black and Gold.
