BOONE, N.C. –– Appalachian State University men's basketball finalized its 2017-18 non-conference schedule, head coach Jim Fox announced on Wednesday.
The 13-game non-conference slate includes home games against Toccoa Falls College, Bridgewater College, Davidson, South Florida and road contests at James Madison, VCU, Western Carolina, Akron, Ohio State and Hampton. The schedule also includes a neutral site tournament in Puerto Rico - the previously announced 2017 Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
"This year's schedule is one that excites our program and our fans," said Fox. "It puts our University on a Broadway stage, but we tell our players all the time; 'Don't tell me what you want to do, show me what you want to do.
