BOONE, N.C. - App State men's golf will tee off its regular season finale Monday at the Mountaineer Invitational from Bridgeport, West Virginia.
"We had a great week of practice and prep," head coach Jason Allison said. "We focused last week on hitting fairways and greens. The guys were a little disappointed with the way we finished at Irish Creek. We will have a big test playing this Pete Dye course in Bridgeport. We need to play one shot at time, stay in the moment and not try to overpower this course."
The event, hosted by West Virginia University, was originally scheduled to be played in October of 2020 but was postponed due to COVID-19.
