COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. - App State men's golf placed third at the Intercollegiate at The Grove, a two-day, 36-hole event, Tuesday afternoon.
With today's finish, the Black and Gold captured back-to-back, top-3 team finishes and their sixth top-3 team finish in the last two seasons. App State has now posted final team totals under par during both of its fall events thus far.
"I'm really proud of the guys," head coach Jason Allison said. "We showed a lot of grit. The course was playing long with a lot of wind and a strong field.
