Men's Golf Finishes in 10th at Sun Belt Tourney

MIRMAR BEACH, Fla. — Appalachian State University men's golf completed the third round of the 2016 Sun Belt Championship on Tuesday at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. App State shot its lowest round of the tournament with 291 in round three. The Mountaineers finished in 10th place with a total of 885.

Georgia State advanced as the No.1 seed into the match-play format of the championship with a score of 848. The Panthers were followed by Troy at 854, Arkansas State at 855, and South Alabama at 862.

Alex Burris posted the low-round of the day for the Mountaineers with an even-par round of 71.
