Men's Basketball Tops Howard 81-59

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Seven players scored at least seven points as App State men's basketball rolled to 81-59 victory at Howard on Saturday afternoon.

The win improves the Mountaineers record to 6-4 on the season. In addition, the win also clinches App State's first non-conference winning record since the 2009-10 season.

Isaac Johnson paced the App State offense with a solid all-around game. He finished with a season-high 19 points on 8-of-16 (50.0 percent) shooting, 12 rebounds (five offensive) and a career-high tying seven assists. It marks his third double of the season and 15th of his career.
