BOONE, N.C. – Following a historic season for Appalachian State softball, Kenzie Longanecker and Keri White were named to the All-Sun Belt First and Second teams respectively, the league announced Tuesday.
Kenzie Longanecker, a junior from Sanford, Fla., becomes the first Mountaineer ever to be named to the All-Sun Belt First Team since App State joined the conference in 2014. She is one of only three pitchers chosen to the first team.
Longanecker has consistently been ranked a top pitcher in the Sun Belt all season after posting a 2.
