BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State Athletics' second annual Legends Gala at Camp Yonahnoka is officially sold out.
Hall of Fame football coach and title-winning NASCAR team owner Joe Gibbs will serve as the keynote speaker for the event at the The Eseeola Lodge at Linville Golf Club in Linville, N.C., on Friday, June 29.
A native of Mocksville, Gibbs won three Super Bowl titles as head coach of the Washington Redskins. He started Joe Gibbs Racing in 1992 and has won four Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series championships as a team owner. Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Daniel Suarez and Erik Jones are currently driving in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series for Joe Gibbs Racing.
