• Appalachian State University (9-7-2, 4-4-2 Sun Belt) women’s soccer defeats South Alabama (12-5-1, 7-4 Sun Belt) on a last second goal by senior Jane Cline in double overtime on Senior Day.
• The win clinches a berth in the 2016 Sun Belt Championship Tournament in Foley, Ala. The Mountaineers’ first tournament match will be on Wednesday, Nov. 2. Time and opponent are still TBD.
• The game is the teams third-straight win and fourth victory in their last five games.
• Cline finished two goals on the day, both from senior Jackie Nieradka.
