Appalachian State University men's soccer head coach Jason O'Keefe has announced the addition of nine newcomers for the 2016 season on Tuesday, including five freshmen and four transfers.
The Mountaineers are looking to build off a successful spring campaign in 2016 with the talented and hardworking group of newcomers. The Apps played top competition in Clemson and junior college national champions Louisburg College. App State recorded shutouts over High Point (3-0) and Lees-McRae (5-0).
"We are extremely excited to get these young men here at App State. We have worked very hard to identify and recruit the players which we feel will come in and help take our program to the next level," said O'Keefe.
