“It has been a privilege to cover and work alongside so many talented student-athletes, coaches and staff during my 15 years at Appalachian State. Our crew was fortunate to provide the details for some of the most memorable moments and achievements in the school’s athletics history,” Jackson said.
“However, that work does come with a cost,” he continued. “My time in the booth, combined with my administrative role, did not always provide for the best life balance. I came to the decision to leave my position in the Appalachian athletics department with my beautiful family in mind.
