BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Senior Chelsey Hargrave (McLeansville, N.C./Williams) earned All-Sun Belt honors to lead the Appalachian State women's track & field team on Day 1 of the Sun Belt Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
The Mountaineers sit in eighth place after the first day. South Alabama concludes the opening day in first with 40 points, Texas State sits second with 38 points and UT Arlington is third with 23 points.
Hargrave posted a second-place finish in the long jump with a distance of 19-3.25.
