BOONE, N.C. -- Recent Appalachian State men's basketball graduate Griffin Kinney has signed a contract with the Dutch professional basketball club Aris Leeuwarden.
Aris Leeuwarden is a member of the Dutch Professional League, which is the highest professional basketball league in the Netherlands. Aris Leeuwarden has been a member of the league since 2004, reaching the finals in the 2012-13 season.
"We are very proud of Griff for signing with Aris Leeuwarden," said Appalachian State head coach Jim Fox. "The amount of work he has put in to become a pro is a credit to his work ethic.
