Greeley Leads Women's Cross Country at NCAA Southeast Regionals

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Senior Phylissa Greeley finished 80th overall to lead Appalachian State women's cross country at the NCAA Southeast Regionals, hosted by the University of Virginia.

Running their second 6k race of the season, the Mountaineers scored 623 points in the 37 team field. N.C. State took first place with 68 points.

Greeley crossed the finish line in 22:16.5, making up a total of 26 spots after the 2k mark.

Senior Hana Ratcliffe placed 117th overall in 22:42.5.

Junior Emily Fedders finished 140th in 23:00.4 and senior Natalie Kile was right behind in 141st in 23:00.
