BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University softball lost games one and two of a three-game set with Georgia State on Saturday by scores of 15-0 in six innings and 11-9.

The Mountaineers (9-35, 2-15 Sun Belt) had the chance to win it in the bottom of the seventh in game two, but couldn't complete the comeback and have now dropped six straight. The Panthers (23-22, 6-8 Sun Belt) ran their win streak to four since their seven-game skid on April 2-10.
