OXFORD, OHIO - Appalachian State University field hockey fell to Miami University 6-1 on Friday evening in Oxford, Ohio at the Miami Field Hockey Complex. Senior Micaela Diedericks scored App’s only goal in Ohio, her second of the season.
“Today was a good test for us to see where we stand against a top MAC opponent,” said head coach Meghan Dawson. “The first half we did not play our game at all, but we started the second half on fire and put Miami under pressure for a period of time.
