BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State field hockey will open up the 2016 season with two-straight home games against the Ball State Cardinals and the Georgetown Hoyas at the Brandon & Erica M Adcock Field Hockey Stadium in Boone, N.C. App State will face Ball State on Friday, Aug. 26 at 3pm and will battle against the Hoyas on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 12pm.
“I am looking forward to getting into the regular season and to see some new opponents,” said head coach Meghan Dawson. “I am also looking forward to starting off our season strong against a future Mid-American Conference opponent in Ball State.
