BOONE, N.C. - App State Field Hockey travels to Towson, Maryland this weekend to kickoff its 2021 fall season and to begin a three-game road trip.
The Mountaineers will play Georgetown on Saturday at 2 p.m. and then face Towson on Sunday at 1p.m. Sunday's game will be streamed on FloSports.
This weekend marks the first two of seven non-conference match ups for the Black and Gold this fall. App State is also set to suit up against Wake Forest, James Madison, Ohio State, Davidson and La Salle.
Saturday will be the first regular season game for the 10 App State freshmen, including Charlotte Bosma who scored a goal in each of the Mountaineers' exhibitions last week.
