BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The App State women's track and field team closed out the first day of competition at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships with a podium finish in the women's distance medley relay, a top-five finish in the women's long jump, and three Mountaineers advancing to Tuesday's finals.
Competition on Tuesday continues at 10 a.m. CT (11 a.m. ET) with the multi-events. Tuesday's action will also be on ESPN+.
The highlight of Monday's action was App State's podium finish in the women's distance medley relay. The quartet of freshmen Rhys Ammon and Nicole Wells, sophomore Addison Ollendick-Smith, and senior Jasmine Donohue stopped the clock at 11:47.
