BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Jessica Dixon won the 400-meter dash in a school record time to lead App State women's track & field on the final day of the Sun Belt Championships.
The Mountaineer women finished sixth of 12 team with 49 points. Arkansas State won the team title with 138 points, Troy was second with 89 points and Texas State finished third with 80 points.
Dixon qualified second in the 400-meter dash on Monday. She turned in a time of 55.25 seconds in the finals on Tuesday to win the event by over .
