CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Adrian Delph tied his career-high with 21 points as App State men's basketball overcame a nine-point halftime deficit in a 61-57 win at Charlotte on Friday evening.
Delph finished 7-of-13 (53.8 percent) from the field and went a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line. He also tied his season-high with five rebounds, dished out a career-best five assists and added a pair of blocks.
Kendall Lewis added 15 points and a team-high seven rebounds, while Donovan Gregory chipped in with 10 points.
The Mountaineers (4-1) finished the with 10 blocks in the victory, getting three apiece from CJ Huntley and James Lewis Jr.
