NEW ORLEANS – App State Tennis sophomore Savannah Dada-Mascoll has been named Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season after her dominating performance against James Madison's No. 1 singles player Daria Munteanu on March 9.
This marks the third weekly honor in the Yorkshire, England, native's career and the first time in her career that she's been a multiple-time winner in the same season. Dada-Mascoll won Player of the Week honors in Week 4 after defeating Virginia Tech's Katie Andreini 2-6, 6-3, [10-4].
Dada-Mascoll took control early in her first conference match of the season against JMU.
