BOONE, N.C. –– Ronshad Shabazz’s 20 points and Isaac Johnson’s 10 rebounds highlighted Appalachian State University men’s basketball’s 75-64 loss to ULM on Saturday afternoon inside the Holmes Center.
Shabazz led the Mountaineers (8-19, 3-13 Sun Belt) with a team-high 20 points on 6-for-16 shooting from the field. Johnson finished 3-for-5 with six points. Four of his 10 rebounds came on the offensive glass.
The Black and Gold took a 30-22 lead into halftime over the Warhawks (8-20, 2-13 Sun Belt). The Apps led by as many as 14 points in the opening half with 5:48 to go - holding to a 27-13 advantage.
